Scheduling

If desired we can schedule a free 15 min phone consult to discuss your situation and decide if we would like to proceed with an initial session.

In Person and Telehealth Sessions

In person sessions will take place at my office, 71 Summer St., Haverhill, MA 01830.

Telehealth sessions are conducted through the Zoom platform, providing a convenient and secure way to connect remotely. 

Prior to your scheduled appointment, I will send you an email containing a unique link to join the session. This link will direct you to the virtual meeting room where our session will take place, ensuring privacy and ease of access. 

Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone to facilitate a smooth and effective telehealth experience.

What to Expect/ First Visit

My approach is warm, organic and reciprocal. I will engage with you and provide feedback etc.. We work together to find the right interventions and supports that work for you. We are all so very different and therefore each clients journey will look very different.

In our first session we will review your situation and together we will formulate goals and course of action. I like to give my clients “tools” they can work with in the first session. I want my clients to have a “toolbox” they can draw from right from the start, that way as we dive into the difficulties you have ways to manage what comes up.

The end goal is for you to have the skills to manage trauma/symptoms/life struggles in an empowered and supported way.

Teas

A unique addition to my mental health practice is my ability to formulate personalized herbal teas to assist your healing journey. The herbs I use are specific to mental health support and  management. As a client of mine I can do this for you as part of our work together and do not charge extra for the formulation. 

Clients do need to pay for the tea. The cost is $45 for a months supply. This is not required to work with me as a therapist.

Emergencies

I do not provide 24 hour on call emergency coverage. If you call at a time when I am not available you will have the option of leaving a message.

If an emergency arises, including suicidal feelings, and you are unable to contact with me or feel it is not safe to wait, please call or go to the emergency room of the nearest hospital or call 911. These emergency resources are equipped to handle this kind of problem on a 24 hour basis. Please also leave a message for me so I will be aware of the crisis and can contact you to follow up.

Financial Investment and Responsibility

I do not accept insurance. I am able to provide invoices for FSA/HSA account reimbursement as well as for reimbursement of out of network benefits you may have with your insurance. I am also able to process FSA/HSA cards.

 

The fee per session is $175.00. I have a percentage of sessions available at a sliding scale rate. If you are in need of financial assistance please request to discuss this further.

 

Payment is expected at the time of each visit.  If any checks submitted by you are returned for lack of funds available by the bank (bounced checks), you will be responsible for reimbursing me for any charges made to me by banks to cover these costs.

Please note I utilize a credit card processing system that charges a small fee to the consumer.

Time of Appointments / Cancellations / Late Fees

Unless we make other arrangements, our appointments are scheduled to last 45 minutes. If an appointment starts late due to my running behind we will still keep the full 45 minutes. 

If you arrive late for an appointment, we will have to end the meeting 45 minutes after it was scheduled to begin. The charge to you for these shortened meetings will be for the full amount. 

You will not be charged for a session if you cannot keep it and let me know at least 48 hours in advance. 

You will be charged a cancellation fee of $80 for any appointments that are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged the full session fee for any session cancelled less than 24 hours in advance or for which you do not show up.

*Please note: If you are in an acute situation where you may need more than one session a week with intermittent phone support I will not be a good fit for you. My schedule is limited and at this time I am not able to provide services outside of session.
